A new state of the art facility, located on a seven-acre site for Enable Ireland in Curaheen, Co. Cork.
Enable Ireland provides vital therapy and support services nationwide to children and young people with disabilities.
The centre houses a hydrotherapy pool, garden, playground, treatment, assessment and consulting rooms and an early years education to accommodate the needs of children with disabilities. The site also has a children’s respite house, where children with disabilities can develop their independence skills.
As part of our role as services consultant we completed the services designs, and oversaw the mechanical, electrical, lift, and pool services installation works for this state of the art facility. The systems installed (included solar panels and an intelligent Building Management System) focused on minimising the clients carbon footprint, and having systems in place, that are both easily maintained and reliable.
