This project entailed the construction of terraces, semi-detached and
apartments around a courtyard on the edge of Our Lady’s Hospice
and adjacent to Harolds Cross Road, and was awarded the 2017 Irish
Council for Social Housing Award in the Homeless Category.
The development has created a safe neighbourhood of homes for
families, the elderly, and less-abled, within the greater Dublin City
area.
Accommodation includes a mix of 18 no. 1 bed dwellings; 9 no.
2 bed dwellings; and 1 no. 3 bed units – a mixture of apartment and
housing units with terrace construction varying in height from 3
storeys to 2 storeys fronting Harold’s Cross Road, and two storey
terrace units to the remainder of the site.
