The project consisted of the refurbishment of former stables at Pembrokestown House, Butlerstown, Waterford, which included the complete Mechanical and Electrical Services Package, along with Pool installation, and the installation of large domestic solar panels, as part of the scope of works. The existing coach house on the grounds of this home is a blend of contemporary design and original features, which was incorporated into the newly refurbished stables.
Working closely with the Beatty family, Geaney Engineering designed, project managed and installed a 55kWp Solar Photo Voltaic system. The 55kWp Solar PV System, was calculated to reduce consumption of energy by over 53,000kWhr’s annually providing an ROI to the client of < 5 years.
This particular PV array installation utilised a grant available and sourced from the SEAI, whilst; gaining ACA reimbursements also on behalf of the client.
